Welcome to the June edition of Peterborough Workspace Newsletter.
Although some businesses are finding the current economic climate difficult, because of the level of support and sense of community we have created at Workspace House, it is easier for the businesses to meet with each other and share ideas. This ability to be inspired by other businesses is important and something that those businesses working from home can miss out on.
Another area that we help the businesses is via our free workshops, last month we ran three all with a marketing theme. The Workshops were delivered by Dawn Strange of Media Matters, Andrew Nicholson of 4 Thinking Marketing and Andy Lindsay of Moving up Media and covered the whole marketing range, from Internet Marketing, including search engine optimisation, to the more traditional methods. The workshops continue next month when we have Rawlinson's delivering their Business Builder Workshops and Ian Watkins of Oxbridge Technology on how to get the best out of your I.T.
We are continuing to receive a lot of enquiries and interest in our premises. Last month we had 4 new businesses move in: Elegance Design, Health & Fitness Co. Ltd, Index Books and Peacock Models, with only 1 (Austin Rose Printers) moving out. Currently we only have three available spaces and these are detailed below.
One of our businesses A&M HGV Resources Ltd have recently decided to offer a courier service A&M Couriers - Peterborough. Details on the service are set out below. As a special offering the company is offering a 10% discount on the first booking made by every new client.
This month's Business Link article is titled “Looking for finance?” and is very thought provoking.
Peterborough Workspace is ideal for those businesses working from home who want to get to the next level. If you are aware of any such business which would benefit from the services which we provide please refer them directly to me.

A&M COURIERS - PETERBOROUGH a-m-couriers

Please allow us to introduce ourselves:
We are a Peterborough family based business which has been established since 2004, we offer a courier service to local businesses with the added facility of chilled and frozen vehicles to service the food industry.
We currently operate a fleet of the latest vehicles that are fully insured and all are fitted with a satellite tracking/Navigation systems and mobile phones, this ensures we know the exact location of your delivery and to make sure it gets there ASAP. Once your goods are on our vehicle they remain there until the delivery destination is reached. Several of our clients have indicated that this limits the damage & losses that are associated with using a pallet distribution network.
After that build up imagine the deflation when you had demonstrated the sometimes ineffectiveness of their locks when the question comes “Do you do alarms mate?”
All our vehicles are available to go anywhere in the UK or Europe seven days a week for any of those urgent deliveries at a moments notice.

Newsletter - October 2009

list of businesses at Peterborough Workspace

Welcome to the October edition of the Peterborough Workspace Newsletter.

September continued the stable trend that we saw in August, with no businesses moving out and one business moving in. So, currently we have only one available unit the details of which appear below. However, that position will change shortly, as I am aware that three businesses will be moving out, two to much bigger units, but more on that next month.

As mentioned last month we have now started our Workshops, and Rawlinsons kicked it off in fine style with "How to get your customers to buy more from you", this month we have three workshops, firstly Media Matters with “helping you raise your profile on the web”, then Easylife IT talking about some of the latest CRM developments, before we end the month with another workshop from Rawlinsons.

This month's Business Link article continues “Staff recruitment theme”, this time on the interviewing process.

For the third year running we will be exhibiting at Business Focus which is held on 9th October at Holiday Inn Peterborough-West, Thorpe Wood, Peterborough. Doors open ay 9.00 a.m. and if you are visiting we would love to see you.

Peterborough Workspace is ideal for those businesses working from home who want to get to the next level. If you are aware of any such business which would benefit from the services which we provide please refer them directly to me.
