Newsletter - December 2008
Welcome and a Merry Christmas to the December edition of the Peterborough Workspace Newsletter.
I am still very pleased to report that we remain full, this despite the fact that, as mentioned last month, Allind Ltd left us for bigger premises. However, I anticipate, that we will have a small number of offices/units becoming available later this month, as Papershrink, are due to move out to larger premises. Papershrink have been one of our success stories, the proprietor, Elisabeth Belisle, started her business in her conservatory and moved to Workspace House about six years ago, initially she occupied one small unit, but over her time here the firm has steadily grown and at the time of leaving Papershrink occupied six units.
Smart Spending, who moved into Workspace House in the summer, provide details below of their product which has become popular within the local area.
Last month, we had an excellent workshop delivered by David Kentish of the Business Club on the benefits, to small businesses, of being part of that organisation. Later this month, Graham Drage of WSI marketing, will be delivering a workshop on Internet Marketing and Search Engine Optimisation.
Last month, we also launched our first Peterborough Workspace internal networking meeting. With 37 businesses on site, there is a great opportunity for businesses to trade with each other and this has proved to be the case.
This month's Business Link article, a explains the help that is available to businesses in this time of doom and gloom.
Peterborough Workspace is ideal for those businesses working from home who want to get to the next level. If you are aware of any such business which would benefit from the services which we provide please refer them directly to me.
As the Christmas and New Year holidays will shortly be upon us, I do not intend to issue a newsletter in January, the next one will be 1st February.
Finally, I would just like to wish you all a Happy Christmas and a very prosperous New Year.
