Welcome to the March edition of the Peterborough Workspace Newsletter for 2008.
I am delighted to say that we continue to be 100% full and that demand for units is such that we have created a waiting list. The nature of Peterborough Workspace is that we have a regular turnover of businesses and I do expect to have a couple of units becoming vacant in the next few months.
In the meantime we will shortly be converting our canteen, which is at the front of the building, into a very nice office. Work on this is expected to start later this month and the new office should be available in April. We are also taking the opportunity to convert the current Boardroom into an office and to create a canteen and much larger Boardroom in the main body of Workspace House.
The expectation is that the new Boardroom will not only be used for Workshops (for up to thirty people) but also as a room that Workspace businesses can use to meet with potential customers. The completion of this work will create an additional room for renting, brining the total number of rooms/units to 52.
Talking about Workshops, last month we had two excellent ones delivered by Rawlinsons and Wendy Howard of “Spirit of Venus”. This month Rawlinsons return with “Your Vision - Your Numbers”.
This month's Business Link feature is all about a “Green Business” and the Workspace House business article is on t-morph, who moved in last summer.
