Newsletter - May 2008
Welcome to the May '08 edition of the Peterborough Workspace Newsletter.
The level of enquiries in April remains at a positive level. Two businesses (Productive Workplace Health and BestDeal4 Baby.co.uk) moved into Workspace House and with no businesses moving out this means that we currently only have one vacant unit remaining. However, later this month two offices will become available. As I have mentioned previously this level of activity is normal and healthy.
The building work creating a new office at the front of Workspace House is complete. As soon as the telephone line has been installed this office will be ready for occupation (this is one of the offices mentioned above). Also the work on creating the new board room has been completed. I am currently deciding on the furniture which should all be in place by the end of the month. Thereafter, this room will be available for the onsite businesses to present to/meet with existing and potential customers.
This month's Business Link feature is the second part on the importance of budgeting; the Workspace House business article is by Mr.Vinyl who moved in last summer. In addition, this month I have included an article “Make your Advertising Work” written by Wendy Howard of Spirit of Venus, which I hope you will find of interest. Wendy is running two full day Sales Training Workshops at Workspace House on the 5th and 12th June. The cost is £30 per day, if any one would like further details please contact me.
Peterborough Workspace is ideal for those businesses working from home who want to get to the next level. If you are aware of any such business which would benefit from the services which we provide please refer them directly to me.

Owner, Daral Brennan has come from a creative background that well qualifies him to recognise, create and deliver exceptional quality. He was a Press photographer for 20 years and worked for the National tabloids and consumer magazines. The cut and thrust of that fast paced professional life was a good basis on which to recognise the need to adapt to ever changing circumstances and deadlines - something that can be paralleled to every day business applications. In addition, he taught photography and lens based media combined with elements of graphic design for 4 years at Stamford College.
Over the last three months, Daral has further qualified his creative ability and professional commitment by attending five different courses at the Roland Academy at Walsall College. The Roland Academy is the largest industry accredited sign, engraving and large format graphics education facility in Europe. It has been developed by industry professionals and educators to deliver practical, relevant and accessible courses in a wide range of graphic production disciplines delivering world class hands on training.
Keeping all services offered in house allows full monitoring of the processes involved in creation, design and final output. This guarantees the best possible outcome for clients.
