The Google Digital Garage is one of Google's flagship investment programmes in the UK, where anyone can learn free digital skills through a range of courses or 1:1 sessions.  Since its launch in 2015, they have visited more than 500 villages, towns and cities across the UK and trained over 400,000 people face-to-face and online.

Workspace General Manager, James O’Rawe is pleased to welcome the Google Digital Garage back to Workspace House: “in 2019 we hosted The Google Digital Garage in what turned out to be one of our last physical events before covid-19. It seems fitting to welcome them back to Peterborough, albeit online, as we continue to move on and support local businesses and entrepreneurs. This live webinar is a great opportunity for people to gain new skills, knowledge, and to see how they can reach more customers and increase their business potential.”

Ronan Harris, Google UK & Ireland Managing Director, said: 'Now more than ever, having the right digital skills can have a transformative impact on business sustainability, growth and job creation. By partnering with Peterborough Workspace Ltd, to provide free live webinar training through the Digital Garage, we hope to inspire and upskill individuals and businesses throughout the UK, helping people to find a job or grow their skills from home. Despite the ongoing uncertainty, we want to show how digital skills can help people and businesses restart and thrive.'
