Terms and Conditions for services provided by Peterborough Workspace Ltd

 

  1. INTRODUCTION

This document sets out the terms and conditions of becoming a user of services provided by Peterborough Workspace Ltd (Peterborough Workspace Ltd (“PWS", “We” or “Us”). Terms and conditions are subject to variation from time to time. Variations will be notified on our website – www.peterboroughworkspace.co.uk - and the latest version of these terms and conditions will be available there.

By becoming a client of PWS you will meet and be introduced to other clients, users and partners who offer products and services which may be of use to you. If you purchase any products or services from any third party as a result of being a PWS client, this will be an arrangement purely between yourself and the other party. Peterborough Workspace Ltd does not act as an agent to introduce services and does not accept any liability for products sold, advice, or assistance given by one client, user or partner to another on any matter whatsoever unless such advice or assistance has been approved and authorised by one of the Directors in writing in advance.

RIGHTS OF CLIENTS OF PWS

As a right of becoming a client, user or partner of Peterborough Workspace Ltd and unless specifically excluded at the time of joining us, clients, users and partners will have access to relevant services and resources to suit their requirements, including:

  • PWS hosted events, networking and workshops
  • Staffed Reception Service
  • PWS News & Updates
  • Access to PWS social media groups
  • Meeting Room Hire (Workshops and Events). These require clients to provide a risk assessment.

Health & Safety

You must make yourself aware of our policies with a particular regard to our risk assessment and fire safety procedures and how your activity impacts on it and how our risk assessment impacts upon your activity.

 

  1. ADDITIONAL SERVICES

 

 

PWS accepts no responsibility or liability for damages of property brought into Workspace House, or losses suffered by users or members as a result of using services offered by a fellow member, except where PWS responsibility or liability is determined by English law. PWS shall have no responsibility for advice given or services provided by its third-party service providers even though such providers may have been introduced to clients by PWS.

PWS reserves the right to amend, withdraw or add any right of useage for services provided, and such amendment shall not give rise to any liability for refund of fees paid or require any additional fee to be paid.

Workspace House Access

PWS insurance policy does not cover or include loss, damage or theft of your personal items. PWS accepts no responsibility or liability for injury or death of members or their guests, except where PWS responsibility or liability is determined by English law.

Access to Computer Networks and WiFi

When using your own computer/laptop at Workspace House it must be PAT tested to conform with other legal requirements. Access to PWS computer networks and the WiFi is provided for the lawful use of clients, users, partners or guests and must not be used for any activity which, PWS' sole opinion, is illegal, immoral, indecent or detrimental to the enjoyment of other users.

The use of applications that automate requests to any websites is not permitted.

The hosting of services or applications designed to be accessed from outside of PWS is not permitted without prior agreement.

Internet access may be provided to clients guests via the clients wifi service only. No other security codes may be shared with non-clients.

We reserve the right to monitor your usage of Workspace House at any time, including your use of computer networks and the internet. This may include the use of CCTV in and/or around Workspace House.

You are responsible for securing your own computer data and protecting yourself from the impact of computer viruses, malware and malicious software. You must also take reasonable steps to protect Peterborough Workspace Ltd, other clients and/or guests from the impact of computer viruses, malware and malicious software.

Facilities and Equipment

Facilities and equipment provided within Workspace House are intended for use by clients, users, partners and/or guests whilst at Workspace House and may not be removed for use outside of Workspace House. Printers, scanners and telephones may be provided to clients and guests for incidental use.

  • HOW WE COMMUNICATE WITH YOU
    PWS regularly communicates with its clients, users, partners and guests by email or other electronic methods, post and telephone. We aim to only approach our clients and users with information which we believe could be of interest to them. This is an integral part of the working processes of PWS and by entering into an agreement you agree to be contacted by PWS.
    You may, at any time, update and amend your preferred method(s) of communication, opt out of receiving communications from PWS, change your contact details or set your email preferences, by emailing office@pe27.co.uk.
  • COMPLAINTS HANDLING PROCESS
    Should you have a complaint about PWS please contact the on-site manager and/or email office@pe27.co.uk. Please give as much detail as possible. Upon receipt of your complaint the following procedures will be adhered to:

PWS will ascertain the appropriate person to investigate the complaint.

PWS will acknowledge all complaints within five working days.

PWS will investigate the complaint and take the appropriate action required.

If necessary, complaints will be escalated to the Directors who will endeavour to have completed all investigations within 31 days of receiving the complaint.
Following our complaints procedure does not affect your legal rights.

  • PRIVACY
    We take your privacy very seriously. Occasionally, in order to enhance your association with PWS, we may provide selected information (excluding ‘sensitive personal data’) to other organisations who have been selected to provide services to PWS clients. This will only be done, however, when PWS has approved by licence or other agreement the way in which those organisations will use such personal data, with a view to improving the value of PWS services and at all times in accordance with PWS Privacy Policy and after you have provided your explicit consent.
    If you do not wish other organisations to receive any information about you, you may, at any time, update and amend your preferred method(s) of communication, opt out of receiving communications from PWS, change your contact details or set your email preferences, by emailing us at office@pe27.co.uk.
  • LICENCE TERMINATION
    You may cancel your licence agreement with PWS at any time. The licence will cease 30 days from the date the cancellation is recevied by PWS. Cancellations can be accepted by email to office@pe27.co.uk or in writing to: General Manager, Peterborough Workspace Ltd. Workspace House. Maxwell Road. PEterborough PE2 7JE. 

 

By signing a PWS licence agreement, you consent to and agree to comply with the terms outlined above.
